Mission Drishti
Mission Drishti is transforming eye health through a unique, community-centric model that prioritizes education as the first step toward prevention. Through Netrashalas, we are building eye awareness at the grassroots and ensuring vision problems are identified early—before they become life-limiting. We then turn this awareness into action through Netrashivirs—bringing expert eye screening directly to communities to detect refractive errors and cataracts early.
With the support of our partner eye hospitals, we ensure a seamless continuum of care—from screening to sight-restoring surgeries and corrective spectacles. By combining sustained community awareness with clinical excellence, we are building a sustainable ecosystem for vision in Kanpur and nearby districts.
Voice for Health
We have partnered with Alexa Community Programs to bring ‘Tech for Good’ to 50 government schools in Kanpur. By leveraging Alexa’s interactive voice technology, we are empowering adolescent girls and boys with vital education on menstrual hygiene, anemia, and nutrition.
Voice for Health initiative extends to Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Days, where Alexa provides mothers, women of reproductive age, and frontline health workers with essential guidance on maternal and newborn care. Together, we are closing the digital divide to ensure that our communities can access, understand, and act on vital health information.
Project AMMA
We are addressing anemia among pregnant women and adolescent girls in Kanpur through Project AMMA (Anemia Mukt Mothers and Adolescent Girls) by tackling its complex behavioural, nutritional, and systemic roots. Aligned with the Government of India’s Anemia Mukt Bharat Program, project AMMA focuses on delivering an integrated approach to addressing anemia—combining early detection through non-invasive screening, personalized counselling by frontline workers, and improved adherence to Iron and Folic Acid supplementation. By driving convergence across sectors, we are ensuring that every mother and adolescent girl has the nutritional foundation to lead a healthy, empowered life.
